RIPE Creative has been a paperless office since it’s inception. The only real paper we use is a notepad (or an occasional napkin) to sketch ideas and take notes.
We do our best to run an environmentally conscious office — faxes are digital, invoices are sent via e-mail, we use LCD monitors and do our best to recycle everything possible. When workflow allows, the RIPE team also has the opportunity to telecommute on a regular basis, avoiding a drive into the office.
RIPE Creative utilizes a direct-to-plate printing workflow when applicable, which eliminates the need for film. This process requires fewer chemicals, has less impact on the environment and has a higher productivity rate. We are always happy to suggest “green” print options, such as using vegetable- or soy-based inks, choosing recycled or eco-friendly papers, or utilizing print-alternative advertising methods.
We work with eco-friendly printers that are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). FSC standards represent the world’s strongest system for guiding sustainable forest management.
